ok sam. $-INR doesn't tell us whether $ is strong or INR is weak and vice versa but euro-INR will.

A close below 5880 will show weakness and a close below 5825 will confirm it. Having said that I don't expect the market to close below 5825 today. I'll be looking at 5880-5870 range for a closing.

NOTE: As per some pattern, BankNifty has a target around 12360..the high made was around 12315 yesterday....so, there COULD be one more move by it.....but it is looking weak at this point of time....a close below 12220 will confirm it.. Smile

sam, check euro-INR chart, which gives real indication

Vinay, I'll check it today itself after the market hours. But I'm posting the Monthly chart of EURINR.....look like something big is about to happen....I'm not giving much value to the breakout as its too early to comment (as we've just begun Dec)....

USD INR where rupee goes from 53 to 55 is considered depreciation and bad for market... here INR depreciating against euro.. will mean what ?

6000ce having highest build up in OI with 91 lakh shares... including addition of 10 lakh shares today.

5900ce also seeing heavy addition.

5800ce seeing mild addition.

5700pe seeding shedding of 7 lakh shares...and all in the money puts shedding OI.

Saumya: There is a late 1950s picture with comedian Johnny Walker singing, "jara khaske, jara phaske, yeh hai Nifty (Bambai) meri jaan!"
In such halat (10 pts up and down), you should trade single scrips where there is much more volatility! Today I have traded Relinfra (twice), Jubilant, bought back Infy positional & bought back Indhotel positional. All have contributed nicely to tomorrow's celebrations! Cheers, Prakash Holla

It means (to me), put writers are covering their shorts expecting fall in market and call writers letting more calls being written and with heavy premium there... call wirting will be done and premium will be eaten whether by falling or just keeping the market range bound.
