ordinarily like how 5800pe saw split second movement from 21 to 17 indicating downside... 6000ce didnt see a spike ... it went up slowly... so not understanding this, it should have seen short covering.

SL is always of your choice rakesh e.g. a bit below 5912/5873/68NF on instantaneous basis or 5890 on 5tf close basis or 5860 on 15tf close basis. I am considering 5890 on 5tf basis but I never enter a SL order, just keep in mind to act.

apka, pl check and comment on latest OI in 5900pe and 6000/6100ce

PSU Banks allowed to trade in commodity futures seems to be the news that spiked the market. Kamaal Nath has proposed to include it in Banking Amendment Bill.

5900ce and 6000ce had added near 15 lakh shares after fall... reduced to 3-4 lakh shares. OI 6000ce at 1.25 cr and 6100ce 85 lakhs... still high..

5900pe added 7 lakh shares ...

still mixed.

pardon me, but all these addition subtraction has any significant value in putting a trade ?

OR

any announcement has any weight age in putting a trade as all these so called news/ events and all are lagging thing.

chart with the fall indicated tht reversal is there. whether u know the news or now .

rather simple chart reading is the only thing one must know (if not trading a position to be hold of 2-3-5 years )

regds,

regds,

it helps sherbaaz. if a particular level has resistence and OI is seen building in that strike call or put, its sort of a confirmation that it will act as resistence before breaking. it helps to confirm of sorts what you are trading maybe right or not.

5800pe saw split second fall from 21 to 17 and it happened earlier also from 40 to 30 or so... and after that nifty rose... so indicates whether the momentum is real or unclear.

i use it to analyze with charts, FNO alone cannot help.
