I am a silent reader of your posts for more than a year. Your multi-tasking capabilities like analysing nifty, many stocks, currencies, world markets & events, helping others on their queries on specific stocks, posting all these in the forum during trading hours, managing your own trades etc. - simply great. This is my sincere appreciation.
May God bless you with all good things in life.
Thanks. |
.....I try to reply almost all the queries directed towards me....I don't do day trading, or analyze too much during the day....I do most of my analysis at night...For example, the list of stocks I have given earlier this morning was not created this morning. I have selected them and made a list yesterday itself..so that helps....The only thing I do during the day for myself is placing the orders or modifying it....So, in between I have a lot of time, that's why I'm able to reply most of the posts....I like analyzing stocks very much....so, I don't find it boring or irritating if somebody asks any queries on stocks....Anyway, glad to know that you appreciate these little things in life.... | |

BTW, on the lighter side, Vevensa, how can you be a SILENT reader if you are posting regularly. You cannot be both SPECTATOR and PARTICIPANT! Decide on one category!
Cheers, Prakash Holla |
47 posts in 19 months, average is below 2.5 per month, can it be termed as "posting regularly"? I doubt. |

Chiddu had made some comments yesterday about changes in STT in budget. Broker companies are expecting abolishment of the same. |

Andre, I was expecting some support for BankNifty around 12200 levels. I had even posted that in this same thread. The index went slightly below 12250 and then bounced back by around 150 or 200 points. I don't expect too much exuberence in BankNifty today, as SBI result is scheduled tomorrow. For SBI, levels around 2280 could be tested again later today or else tomorrow morning. So, overall, I don't see too much upside in BankNifty till, SBI result. Talking about technicals, the index has lot of resistance in the range 12490-12530. It will do well only if it starts trdaing above 12530 levels. In that case, there is chance of it testing 12580 and 12690 levels. There is chance of it testing the recent highs if it trades above 12690 on a sustainable basis. On the downside, levels around 12400 is the immediate support, below that 12340-320 area could be tested.
NOTE: There is CHANCE of it closing below 12350 levels today. Even in that case, I wont be too much worried, as long as it doesn't closes below the recent lows (closing). |

That will be good relief for NF traders specially. It is pathetic tax. They can take tax on gain. But this upfront tax is not good at all. He introduced it and it is heavily criticized. He must remove it. |

1 No government happily and voluntarily cancels any tax. It will remain
2 What about 3% edu SC on service tax levied to please the Communists when MMS was dependent on their votes? The joke is the Government didnt know what to do with the 60cr it initially collected as education surcharge! Divided equally it would have probably meant a one time payment of Rs 500-1000 to each school in India. Enough to buy channa-shengha! I remember a lady employee of BSNL bursting into tears because they hadnt thought of charging 89+11=100 instead of 100+12.36=112.36 . People were handing over Rs 113 and asking for 64 paisa back!!! Now where are the Communists but the levy remains!!!!! |

if STT will go then capital gain will come... only way is that they should reduce STT or let it come under advance tax which can be deducted at the time of paying TAX. |

Being big news on expiry day, hence I think market will make all short of confusing move in this series. Ups and downs and some stocks and some stocks down. I feel so. 5994 NF remains the resistance as of now.
We will have some impact due to SBI news tomorrow.
As long as as we remain in range (5800-6100) we gain something
The way we are setup globally, I feel we can go to 5800 minimum in this series. |

Das: I beg you to please post more clearly and simply, it is difficult to know what you mean by the below cryptic remarks:

It is budget on Expiry day, so people may not take hugely directional calls.

This is just due to above reason and index management in a range.

Its by option Writing. It can be done with different strategies,
The way we are setup globally, I feel we can go to 5800 minimum in this series.
Western markets have rallied a lot and probably will show some pullbacks. They are trading around the same range for last a few days. Some pull back is due now.
Thanks in advance, Prakash Holla |
Please see above.
Hope is makes sense for you! |
