psalm, about sentimental stocks. It need not be highest weightage. It is about making counter move to the market and forcing certain reversal to the market and forcing people to close their positions.

In last bull market there used to be a small stock like STERLITE, it used to change market direction so many times.

The same is applicable for icicibank.

By the way, SBI was not the sole reason why this rebound happened ....SBI has gone up by around 1.5% from the lows....look at L&T (more than 1.5%) , Bharti (around 4%)....Reliance (around 1.5%)., ICICI Bank (1.5 or more)...L&T, ICICI and Reliance has much higher weightage on the index as well....but yes, SBI has done its part.... Laughing

Shorts can be carried...Stoploss should be around 5923...above 5923, the market will be pretty bullish....I believe

If one has a bit more risk-appetite even 5931 can be used as a stoploss on a Closing basis.... Smile

It may be just a bounce. Chart wise, down trend is intact. As I said before, due to budget on expiry day and also due to low volatility, we will give periodical bounces. We will make extreme range bound moves. So carrying long or short without hedge may give loss.

Just to add one thing, in case market sustain above 5900 spot, there is a chance to visit close 5950-70. But let it close first above 5900 above.
