Market is trading around 5841 now and is not showing any strength at all. It was not surprising to me that we have opened down with a gap. I didn't exit most of my positions yesterday, even though the market went below my trailing stop level. I have decided to carry the position for one more day with the stops I had suggested at first when I reversed my trade. It was 5826 for Nifty Future and 5834 for Nifty spot. I thought Nifty spot stop of 5834 will be triggered first. But to my surprise, Nifty future broke below 5826 this morning. Laughing The opening price was 5825 . Anyway, I'm planning to exit a few more LONGs once we break below 5834. Will exit all my LONGs, once Sensex breaks below 19180, that's my last stop. It could happen today, looking at the way the market is behaving. If the stop is triggered, I wont be initiating any fresh trade today. Will be waiting for next week to have fresh ideas. But since my stop is not so far from current levels, I'm still buying....Let's see when 5834 is taken out. Smile

Intraday trilling stop-loss taken out. I still consider today's high might be 5865.

that's because bulls are heavily shorting 5800pe and bears are shorting 5900ce trying to ensure a range of 5815-5885. 5900pe is anyway ITM

I think thats extreme bearishness... if we close red today...i think on the weekly charts we are quite bearish in the near term..

enjoy the ride steve! Smile

5820 is a -ww target. Also, unless it falls a great deal today, weekly candle will be an inverted hammer. It is safe as long as it doesn't close below 5820.

Sorry vinay...i had a calculation mistake...your true ..its not so bad if we close above 5818..

Vinay,
My point is, if ur assumption is correct then depending on which side is more dominant will determine the relative rice....i mean if bears are dominant then the 5900 CE price wud be lower than 5800 pe since nifty is at 5850....give or take 2-3 pints here and there.
since we are seeing higher price of 5900call in comparison to 5800put so i guess there is some buying at this point of time at 5900 CE...
Since i am learning to interpret these data...so pardon my foolishness.....

Regards,
Andre
