It seems like L&T has joined the party....struggling to hold 1560 levels now....below that there could be further selling pressure, I believe...

Nifty future has reasonable resistance around 6075-80 area....if its not broken on a sustainable basis....then we could test the lows again...let's see how it goes... Smile

selling in SBIN and LT is not making nifty fall. until the standing axis and icici change, there doesnt seem to be scope for downside till tomorrow. tomorrow is also icici's result.

Other than the above mentioned stocks, Reliance, ONGC and HUL are giving good support for the market today....but the market will have to deal with another biggie now....INFY...will struggle below 2780...though the major support is around 2750, it will be under huge pressure if it starts trading below 2780, I feel.....

Some kinda hedge should be necessary for all the positions which are carried overnight, I feel....for example, if you're holding SBI SHORTs, then think about buying some CALL of it...similarly if you're holding some LONGs try to buy a PUT or even try shorting another weak stock as a hedge....similarly some kinda hedge could be handy from here on, I feel....at least for the next 2 days.... that's why I was looking for a few stocks to go long....just as a hedge to my already existing SHORTs... early last sept, I had said that axis bank 928 is bottom of nifty and sam had questioned the logic. I had also said later that it will be 1400/1500. Smile
