As of now, it has broken 5965 and bounced back. A convincing break below that can give 5840. Only hope for bulls hoping for 6100+ in is strong liquidity.

The pattern is running from 3 months.. its a good duration to induce 200-250 point direction I think.

200-250 point direction would mean nifty seeing 6250-6300 Surprised ... which is making me wary to think that it should be a breakdown. RSI also building negative divergence.

But I will not speculate and focus .. Shall wait for friday.

FNO status:

[1] All in the money puts and out of the money puts (except 5800pe and 5900pe) have shedded OI. But 5800pe and 5900pe addition is less.

[2] Most OI in puts is at 5800pe - 72 lakh OI. and Most OI in call is at 6200ce - 87 lakh OI. 6100ce added 9 lakh OI today - total 67 lakh.

[3] Jan fut OI is very less too just 155 lakh...

I think 5600 NF may be possible if we go down from here. If it decides go up 6200 near. Traders need to do hard work every day!

Confusing part is Dow. When nifty wants to go down,it shows up move is possible. Smile

Is it hourly chart? Can you add RSI, SS, MACD to it?

it is actually 15tf but hardly matters for channels. Adding indicators squeezes it vertically too much but at 15tf they are oversold and have given buy signal except macd and at 60tf rsi is 40 with very slight +ve div, sts 54 and macd almost 0 with -ve x'over.

sam, vinay -- whats your view on Dollar Index right now?

I think its given a weekly breakout from falling trendline 84 -> 79... last week it closed above it. Next resistence I see is at 82.30 for it stop.

Does that mean something will happen to Chavez on 15th????... angel

By the way, as per the Moving averages, the next resistance for Dollar index is around 81.15-81.2. As per the retracements, once it sustains above 80.8, then next major resistance is around 82.5-83 area. Immediate support is around 80.2 now. Some short-term trendlines suggest a breakout already. So, I'll be looking at around 81.2 breakout for some confirmation. Else, I'll think that the index could test 80.2 before deciding on further course....

GM all
Hourly chart of Nifty spot. Major trend is UP showing by up channel. Medium trend is down showing by down channel. A small symmetrical triangle like pattern is there. Until and unless breaking of this triangle line, no major move will happen.
So let's wait and watch.

There are many who think that Chavez is already dead and the state wont be disclosing it before his predecessor is selected.

Or will he rise like a phoenix?? Rolling Eyes
