Market has been trading in a HUUUGE  22 point range today....will be interesting to see how tomorrow's trade pans out.....hope the New Year brings some more cheer to the market.....See you tomorrow.....Wishing you all a happy and Prosperous New Year

| We're still in that 2% trading range....but the indications are that we might break it today or in the next few days.....but till that time, its better to be cautious...the Fiscal Cliff talks are still going on in the U.S.....and it is almost certain that there will be a deal.....but the only question is will it be approved on time??.....all the reactions coming from the U.S. are indicating it could be done within an hour or so from now.....if so, it will give extra momentum to our markets....anyway, let's wait and see if we'll be able to close, or at least break above, the crucial 5965 levels..... Have a prosperous year!!!!! |

There was no signing and all, Vinay....there were talks between Reps and Dems the whole night....and there is agreement between them now....now this bill has to be passed by the senate....it is expected to be passed soon..... |

sam, the bill has to be passed by the senate but the deal was indeed signed. Unfortunately, as prakash said, they have also agreed to kick the can down the road for a while for a few issues. |
