It is very difficult for the market to trade at or just around 6000 levels, I feel. A 30 or 40 point move should happen, either on the upside or downside. Both are possible as another 30 or 40 point move wont affect the charts significantly at this point of time. In my opinion, Nifty future has reasonable resistance in the range 6050-6070 area, while it has significant support in the range 5980-5960. So, unless and until any of these levels get broken, there good chance for some oscillations. Trading stocks look like the better ploy.

Samji can you please suggest on bank nifty ?

Taxmann.....BankNifty is trading around an key range of 12620-12600 now. In my opinion, a close below 12600 may push the index to 12250-12300 levels with levels around 12400 offering minor support. Immediate resistance is around 12690, above that 12760 could be tested. While immediate support is around 12550. A close below 12550 will confirm the bearishness. So, in my opinion one may look to buy with a tight stop if the index comes around 12560 or so. While one may look to sell around 12690-700 with a tight stop.

In my opinion, European markets are getting into excellent SELL setups.....DAX and FTSE look like excellent sell (risk-reward is mouth-watering)....CAC is giving mixed signals.....For example, DAX will give an excellent SELL signal at the close of this weekly candle if it doesn't CLOSE below 7660...A new high closing will perfect the SELL set up.....Once that happens 2 possibilities are there....either it will start a new BUY set up which could run into another few months or a new SELL set up which could run into next few months.....I expect selling from here....rather than a new buy set up, as the current rally itself looks a bit stretched.....

NOTE: The situation is very much the same in the monthly charts of U.S indices....especially DOW and S&P500....

Sorry it was not 7660...its 7636....7660 is the future level.....7636 is the spot level to watch this week for DAX on a closing basis....if it doesn't close below 7636, then one can start looking to SELL...stoploss is obtained by adding the average true range of the highest candle added to the highs upto this week (which is around 7790 as of now)...
