ritesh, 8220 looks OK as 8228 is a possibility. I will however, want that even 8232 is not broken.

why did airasia ceo tony fernandes sell about 9.45 lac of tune insurance holdings on 23/12? the firm provides travel insurance. airline stock fell 7% after the disappearance of flight.

Nifty for Thursday (01/01/14) and beyond

Supports are at about 8272, 8247, 8237 and 8225 while resistances are at about 8291, 8302, 8328 and 8378. A previous unfilled gap on lower side is at about 8200. 50 dma is at about 8290. Five +WWs can give about 8314 (if above 8194), 8392 (if above 8235), 8399 (if above 8215), 8425 (once above 8316) and 8550 (if above 8100). (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). Two -WWs can give about 8253 (if below 8281) and 8193 (if below 8288) (-WWs with lower targets are not mentioned as of now). An IHnS can give about 8365 once above 8275. A ST can give about 8600/7960 in case of a BO/BD above/below 8280/8180 resp.

Nifty rose and closed well above 8250. Daily candle is a Marubuzo. Though weekly candle is fine, monthly is not. Also, a mild bearish div has appeared again on daily and weekly and will not go unless nifty goes above 8365/77 to begin with. In addition, 20 dma crossed below 50 dma today. If it sustains below about 8200, we can see more fall. However, the bullish div that developed over last few months remains and only a sharp upmove can save nifty with a close above 8324 to begin with. A close above 8589 can lead to a new high. Global and local eco-political events can have a bearing on how nifty moves in short term.

Nifty for Friday (02/01/14) and beyond

Supports are at about 8275, 8256, 8237 and 8210 while resistances are at about 8291, 8303, 8328 and 8365. A previous unfilled gap on lower side is at about 8200. 50 dma is at about 8301. Four +WWs can give about 8317 (if above 8245), 8335 (if above 8175), 8400 (if above 8152) and 8406 (if above 8271). (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). Two -WWs can give about 8234 (if below 8297) and 8175 (if below 8290) (-WWs with lower targets are not mentioned as of now). An IHnS can give about 8370 once above 8280. A ST can give about 8600/7960 in case of a BO/BD above/below 8280/8180 resp. A bullish flag can give much higher levels unless killed below 8115. An AT can give 8360 if nifty sustains above 8280.

Nifty rose a bit again after a slight gap down open but closed flat though well above 8250. Daily candle is a hammer. Thursday was a NR 7 day and we may see a big movement on Friday. The mild bearish div persists on daily and weekly and will not go unless nifty goes above 8365/77. In addition, 20 dma remains below 50 dma. If nifty breaks 8180, we can see more fall. However, the bullish div that developed over last few months remains and only a sharp upmove can save nifty with a close above 8324 to begin with. Friday must close at least above 8242. A close above 8589 can lead to a new high. Global and local eco-political events can have a bearing on how nifty moves in short term.

now waiting for 8377 but I feel it may react from 8381 even if it goes there.
