Hi Vinay, looking at the current scenario & expecting big move (upside or down), do you think strangle strategy for nifty would make sense.

I don't do it but if it is going to be a strong up/down trend, it is best to buy calls or puts. I am heavily long.

yesterday's chart updated with some additions. IMHO, only a break out above previous high i.e. about 6360 will give hope to bulls.

Very low FII purchase figure, today's candle and sharp fall in INR in afternoon is worrying. I wonder whether newly started interest fut trading had anything to do with it. Dollar index went to 81.37 (or may be a bit more) and if it takes out 81.40 forcefully, it could go to 83.5 and INR 63.5.

Only way out is a gap up open and zoom up. Smile

NR7 is based on the high-low price range that is the smallest of the prior six days (seven days total). When an NR7 occurs, it means that today's price is the narrowest of the seven days.

Similarly we have NR4.

Gap Up
IMO, no chance
I am looking for a gap down.

Todays candlesticks is a doji, and I afraid, it may not convert into an evening star tomorrow.

I am looking for less than 6250 NF levels, may be about 6230 - 6200, tomorrow or day after, as a result of a bearish pattern.

NF tried hard to move above 6250, today and yesterday, to cancel this bearish pattern, but failed, repeatedly. Just couldnt sustain even at 6240.

Tomorrow will be last chance for cancellation of this bearish pattern.

Let us see, what happens tomorrow.
