IMO, we can meet 6185 as gap open or within 30 or 60 minutes
.

Vishy

Sorry Vishy
I get my RT charts using trading terminal
And, I do not get volumes with real time charts, for NIFTY or BANKNIFTY indices

One can see that high of the last candle met resistance at 1-3-5 line
So, the negation point for this bullish ww will be, that NIFTY doesnt move above this 1-3-5 line

In continuation to my yesterdays Ichimoku chart

You can see that today NIFTY took support right at Kumo lower line (known as Senkou Span B)

Similarly, for tomorrow 6130-20 will be the major support area for NIFTY
Once broken can fall to lower levels

Major support levels are 6050 - 6020 - 5950

Resistance levels are 6195 - 6242

saumya, what does the very narrow neck of the cloud on the right imply?

no one must have seen a rate hike coming.

this is the 3rd 25bps increase in repo rate, last 2 times banks did not pass it on ahead to consumers consciously as it will add to stress levels and may hike NPAs... let's see what banks do this time.

situation just became more grave. Confused

VIX new high 18.72

a lot of experts did expect a rate hike but not both repo and msf. but vix is still relatively low?

pre-open low on 9/1 was 6112 and today it was 5921. So may be that's next level to expect. But I feel it should recover to about 6250 first.
