What is the market really waiting for? the Ben news on taper or the expiry. Option writers confidently writing away both put and call with DII only buyers at the moment.
Maruti was disliked yesterday and today boom, really makes no sense and now ICICI.
I feel that taking any positions now should be in Feb series where valuation looks alright in options.
Vinay whats your take?

maruti case is obvious. I am still bullish on nifty and banknifty in short term i.e. feb and march. One more breach of 6350 will take it to new heights. But if you are not sure, as I said yesterday, buy 6400ce/6000pe for feb/mar if nifty goes to 6200, when it does.

just for info, s&p made a new high 74 times last year after breaching previous one successfully the first time.

You expect the same feet by Nifty.... Laughing of course it's quite possible once Election uncertainty is behind us. Where do you get such data?...It's quite interesting.....74 times ..Is this number indicating the uncertainty and volatility also?.

pl feel free rk. I have really not understood its meaning? Unless what you are implying is that 74 times new high implies uncertainty volatility? If so, I don't think so, considering that there are about 260 working days. IF it goes up every day, it is a new high every day, that's all. By the way, I heard it but not verified it.
