A rare case of this thread being not active on a day.

No posts from Vinay and apka today!!!!!

not much going on to say except gaps and downs everyday Smile

Last hour yesterday nifty premium rose upto 20 points which had been in discount or at par since few days.

Fut OI had 9 lakh shares intraday and total went to 166 lakh, it ending up total at near 148 lakh.. means short covering led to the rally and premium gain.

5800ce conveniently added 8 lakh shares being in the money and didn't see much short covering yesterday last hour. Total OI near 45 lakh. How it acts after a gap up may indicate upside or downside.

Nifty spot closed above the falling trendline from 6229's high point. Bank nifty is a little up from that point, which comes near 11050 for it.

Asia is not strongly green and neither was US yesterday but SGX suggesting gap up of 0.50% near 5850. So we could fill the gap pointed by vinay at 5868 and try to close above the 50ema mark at 5846.

it saw short covering though not much. about 7% of total OI reduced, from 62 lakh down to 58 lakh. It's implied VIX was 20.4+ higher than the current nifty VIX.

dear friend ,

i update the chart with whats my expectations in clearly...
then whats your prob to understanding chart ....just learn technical analysis and follow the charts ... do trade with your own study ... newer follow any one blindly....

icharts discussions/forum has has have lot of trading strategy

imp : learn first trend line based tradings... bcoz thats more accurate as per my view...

ok.

there could be 2 interpretations of this.

lack of selling and lack of buying = consolidation / base forming

lack of buying and sellers waiting to sell at higher = sustenance may not last longer

tough to say what it means. only way FII can get retail investors into market is with a new high, ppl are not falling to invest just yet having the experience of a 5 year bull run.
