PC giving speech on economy and asking people not to buy gold seems fishy to me. Have they sold off the country already? Rolling Eyes
Is gold imports the only reason for such a junk state of our CAD? pathetic FM we have here.

1. is he planning to bring in some severe govt directive about gold and warning people beforehand? (see attachment, which Ajay had posted long back)

2. why is talking good about economy AFTER DIIs bought?

Why cant they just ask these IT service providers, KPO and all these service providers to bring back their $ earnings to India from the Cayman Islands and Luxembourg.
I know for myself how these companies open LLPs and keep their earnings abroad and only remit the cost to India.

that's because of our govt's stupid high taxes on interests earned by NRI in FDs, bonds, etc.

true chandru. we didn't pay much attention to it. May be OI in June CEs above 5800 didn't see huge build-up at that time.

SBIN hasnt broken its previous low of 1970 yet, and has been holding near 2000 despite falling today and yesterday and has good pos div build up. this one could induce some relief rally till 2070 today.
