One small thing that comes to my mind with regards to the depreciating INR is the amount of acquisitions Indian companies are doing abroad. Eg. Apollo Tyres taking over this UK company for 14500cr. Do these companies have any dollar reserves or they are buying it from open market? Does the FM have nothing to say about these buys which are ultimately worthless. No big buys in international markets have helped any of these third rated companies in the indian context lately. |

if bank nifty is going to support from today in anticipation of rate cut on monday, immediate targets of axis are 1295/1308/1321. |

SP: I 100% agree with you. But why only 3rd rated companies? What about faltu Parsi Bombay House wala? Ye pagal ko Angrej craze hai to ghar ka paisa mein kyo nahi kharidta hai?
Indian Hotels: took large loss in pursuing luxury hotel group which didnt want them
Tata Motors: Even now JLR likely to derail Tata
Tata Steel: Corus is like concrete shoe tied to dying man thrown into water
Tata Global bought UK Tea company (Tetley?)
ALL FINANCED 50% BY LOANS IN INDIA!!!!
I dont know about Mittal and his mad purchase of France based assets of Arcelor. Probably here also Indian banks financed partly and $ bought! |

True, on the contrary look at the profits ripped by the foreign LLPs and banks from their investments in our Indian Companies. I start with Rabo Banks investment in Yes and plenty, what policies we have is only favoring foreigners to loot us. I wonder how big the loot is as it never stops. |

vinay take note now that we have fallen, OI from 121 lakhs gone to 165 lakhs in 4 days counting todays addition of over 15 lakhs as of now.
44 lakhs shorts added on back of gap downs, ek bounce banta hain..
situation somewhat similar to 5500 levels .. premium down to near flat now, but spot holding up.. |

I am banking on some recovery in view of the fact that FIIs have lost >11% in dollar nifty in <one month. As I have been posting, it's all a matter of levels (price is the king). If it closes below 5680/60, 5450/5500 seems certain. Otherwise at least two days should close > 5700, which seems likely. |

Am breathing a sign of relief now with RIL strongly looking to go up. Its absorbed the sell. Now 800 is what m looking at.
Some news says one promoter entity sold 56lacs shares of RIL.
Vinay any idea what is this about?
Are they trying to fund their tower business through this? |
