Even as the IHnS posted earlier has almost given its target, here's a chart showing likely ST BD. Target could be sub 7000. Unless of course what happened so far was a false BD. BO only if nifty sustains above 7450.

Nifty for Wednesday (04/06/14)

Supports are at about 7387, 7330, 7310, 7281 and 7230 while resistances are at about 7436, 7448 and 7545. Three +WWs can give about 7447, 7475 and 7510 (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). Four -WWs can give about 7336 (once below 7397), 7301 (once below 7391), 7232 (once below 7411) and 7193 (once below 7302) (-WWs with much lower targets are not mentioned as of now). A rising wedge can give about 7200 if nifty goes and remains below 7400. Similarly a BD of a ST can give sub 7000 levels.

Nifty rose again to close above 7400 and also at a new all time high. It has thus has given some hope to the bulls. However, it seems to be overbought and MACD is giving hints of -ve crossover. Nifty must bulldoze past 7450 in order to make a new high. A close below 7230 could cause more fall. With all major news behind us, market will now dance to FIIs' tune.

first of all, FIIs buying puts is my gut feeling and I don't know how to confirm it though I will try to find out. Secondly, I am worried about ECB action because, IMHO, not only it is bad in the long term but I am afraid that it will only fuel frenzy in emerging markets, which is already euphoric. I think the symphony is heading to a crescendo. The problem is both bulls and bears can be slaughtered due violent swings that we may witness now. I would like to believe that this frenzy may last at the most till 18/6, if at all it last that long. If it does last that long, we may even see 7950 this month itself though I am not sure.

Nifty for Friday (06/06/14)

Supports are at about 7447, 7418 and 7405 while resistances are at about 7450, 7487, 7517 and 7545. Two +WWs can give about 7505 and 7521 (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). Seven -WWs can give about 7436 (once below 7477), 7425 (once below 7460), 7339 (once below 7430), 7323 (once below 7406), 7309 (once below 7442) and 7289/41 (once below 7500) (-WWs with much lower targets are not mentioned as of now). A rising wedge can give about 7120 if nifty goes and remains below 7416. Similarly a BD of a ST can give sub 7000 levels if nifty goes and remains below 7411.

Nifty rose sharply again to close above 7450 and also at a new all time high and looks very bullish. However, rsi doesn't seem to follow nifty in tandem and a reaction looks imminent. Nifty must bulldoze past 7520 in order to make a new high. A close below 7400 could be the first sign of reversal. If nifty closes at/below 7337 on Friday, that would be bad. Also, if nifty doesn't cross 7504, weekly candle would be an inside bar. With all major news behind us, market will now dance to FIIs' tune.
