I have been away for trading for sometime because of huge work load because of approaching 31st of March,
I think after seeing the data out today its best to wait for WPI nos coming soon and then the rate cut story will come.
I had long on ICICI bank and JP both of which I liquidated friday last.
If any trade is to be done I will do on the long side for certain scrips,

| taxmann, 5885/5805NS is possible though latter is doubtful. I am long but I feel movement will come from Thursday only. However, it should go up today and close nearer to yesterday's close to eliminate any bearish signal. |

What I have written is to explain how I am interpreting it.
Whatever has been happening in FNO since last 3-4 months taking that as base, earlier I had written that in the 1st week wherever high OI near 90 lakh - 1 cr is made, that becomes laxman rekha. It happened with 5700pe. now 5800pe OI is also above 1 cr. Crossing 1 cr OI is good enough to ensure most likely it will not be breached. 1 cr OI is normally crossed on expiry day or just before when values are much lower. So, if option writers are writing at higher values and bulk at the start of the month, it means they are the market movers and hence are taking that risk to write. So, market had to rise.
Considering nifty is rising, so put writers should not have a problem in writing like incase of 5700pe 5800pe, but still 5900pe couldnt cross 80 lakh OI on EOD basis (depiste fut just 10 points away from 6000). If nifty were to rise further, then 5900pe wouldnt have seen lack of OI addition.
Instead, we are more close to 6000 than 5900 and still 6000ce was not seeing shedding of OI, means the writers profit would come only if its premium falls.
So, lack of strong OI addition in 5900pe and comfortable addition of OI in 6000ce without writers covering their positon in 3 days gave the indication of a fall.
This has happened in the 1st days of the series... but if it was in the last week, then interpretation may change as per situation then. |

Taxmann: I dont have the touch with NF that you experts have so I am sticking to single stocks right now. Giving good return also! Will return to NF, time to time, when clear trending with volume gives good return intraday. Cheers, Prakash Holla |
