pre was showing very small nos shedding of OI and addition mix match. it was insignificant.
post 9.45:
5800pe from total 101 lakhs dropped to 92 lakhs then again rose back to 100 lakhs and EOD closed near 97 lakhs. movement didnt result in major change it.
5600pe shedded 30 lakh OI. from 102 lakhs went to 72 lakhs.
5700pe shedded 20 lakh OI. from 129 lakhs went to 108 lakhs.
5900pe shedded intraday 10 lakh OI. then receoved to just shedding 2 lakh shares.
5900ce also closed EOD shedded near 2-3 lakh shares.
whereas 6000pe and 5800ce both added OI... surprsingly.
6000ce was 81 lakh shares when nifty was down then reduced to 72 lakh shares when it bounced back 150 points.
out of above only 5800pe stood strong.
5900pe and ce are having roughly same OI now. |

yeh this chart and high low values differ many times, how i want to understand.
like right now low was something 5917.x but chart was showing 5918.10 |

May I request you to open a separate thread for your options data interpretations inferences etc.....and request you to post time to time… whenever you find something interesting. It will be really useful for everyone to have a ready reckoner thread so as to grasp and understand the dynamics.

apka, you must understand that chart trigger is 1 sec so micro sec values don't show up. e.g. yesterday, my ce got sold at my order price though that price never came on charts. In other words, what you see is a close value of 1 sec candle, though hundreds of trades take place in 1 sec, if you know what I mean.
manoj, I am expecting at least 5900NF or even 5863NS. |

But full recovery towards the end is possible, so we can retest 5960 again! |

vinay, close can be anywhere on 1min timeframe, thats ok.... but the chart says low value was 5918.10 ... whereas nse figure saying low as 5917.xx
even now, nse value showing low 5908.20 but chart showing low as 5912?
5800pe shows high 29, and chart says 27.65 high...
im taking a guess that it could be to do with actual punched orders and "market" orders. if the low has come at buy/sell market orders during a fall maybe chart registers only the punched in value and nothing below it. or chart only registers upto a certain no. of orders in a second, beyond it it ignores. |
