How did you pick the fut level 5595 for upside continuation? 4 attempts on 4 days, once high 5594.20 but it didn't breach and now we are testing lower breakout levels.
@vishy
earlier 12 noon, now a days i think 5pm. |
5595? are u suffering from Sam effect?
6595NF/6572NS were crucial. Now it is 6484NS crucial. Otherwise may be 6330 |

Updated yesterday's channel chart, also showing "right angled broadening pattern-descending". The success ratio of latter is worst but BO is on upside if it works. Channel BD gave first target with second target of 6420 pending. But it entered the channel again. Now to see whether it breaks down again or it crosses over upper line and breaks out. |

This is my view on 6500pe further to my post on 6600ce under "running with the wolves".
6500pe showed a lot of promise yesterday when it crossed above 85 but could not sustain and failed miserably. Chart shows no signs of revival unless some terrible event happens.
As of now, it looks like it will not cross 60. However, if it crosses 65, it may go to 83 again and if it sustains above 90, it may go to 180-190. It appears from the chart that nifty has already seen its low or worst case 6412 may come. |

One possibility is a big gap down opening on Tuesday. |

Hmm. Right now the headlines are like:
Moscow assets set to fall after Crimea votes to join Russia
Gold near six-month high on safe-haven bids amid Ukraine crisis
Brent holds above $108 on Ukraine tensions
If something worse happens tomorrow, then I guess so too. |

u r right apka. As of now everything looks rosy and precludes possibility of a gap down open on Tuesday. But I still see a possibility of about 6435NF (it remains bullish till then nevertheless). Unless it doesn't fall and instead sustains above 6572NS/6595NF.
Have you checked money flow index, on balance volume and force index? And -ve div on weekly with a doji with higher volume? Something's not right or may be I am reading too much in them. My worries will increase as nifty breaks below 6487/46/12 and/or closes below 10dma when IMHO it turns bearish. |

Nifty for Tuesday (17/03/14)
Supports are at about 6485, 6430, 6412, 6383 and 6357 while resistances are at about 6531, 6543, 6565 and 6646. Two +WWs can give about 6578 and 6619 (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). Two -WWs can give about 6479 and 6378 (-WWs with much lower targets are not mentioned as of now). A bullish flag gives higher level unless killed below about 6470. A channel BD can give 6420 if nifty remains below 6487.
Nifty rose sharply after a gap down open and managed to close just above 6500 but still looks a bit bearish. Though there is a mild +ve div on daily chart, there is also a mild -ve div on weekly chart and that too with higher volume. Also, the weekly candle is a doji showing uncertainty. Weekly support is about 6400. Unless nifty closes above about 6565, it won't go up further but if it closes below about 6430, it could fall much more. Oil price and/or INR and other global cues will remain key to the future of Indian markets in short to medium term. VIX can cause wild intraday swings. |

pl read my post again. I have posted ".....nifty may have already seen its low or worst case 6412NS may come." And 6435NF more or less matches with 6412NS. If that is taken out, all bets will be off presently, though there are other levels below where it may stop. |
