when nifty touched high before close Auto Index -17, IT Index +12, Midcap +2, Bank Nifty +30, and Nifty +38..... while LT axis icici sbi tata steel hindalco reliance are flat to negative.
fmcg, cnx 100, 200 and 500 moved up sharply in the end.
dunno what relevance it gives. |

true. advance/decline ratio for nifty scrips was about equal. Probably means money shifting slowly to mid/small caps. |

| vinay, FII bought about 1100cr nifty futures... if they are net buyers then who writes those fut? DIIs + HNIs + Retailers? Can they account for so much? Are ETFs counted as FII? |

of course yes.
shift to mid/small cap may indicate a lull for a day or two.
special trading session on saturday from 11.15 to 12.45 means some "kabada" to give a "proper" weekly close!!
