good observation.....a gap up tomorrow [shorters gasping......] shall negate it.......tomorrow opening range shall decide importance of this hammer.....
close above 7140 NF would have such a possibility....close below 7130 NF would mean more downside..... |

always difficult to negate an inverted hammer with such a big gap up since it also implies an evening star. In any case, I sense big consolidation till Friday to kill options. see how vix collapsed today killing option prices. |

today evening star may be [depending upon tomorrows action]...and close above open....attached chart....trendline important resistance......7043 is gap level suport in NF..... |

Nifty for Wednesday (14/05/14)
Supports are at about 7084, 7053, 7025, 6990 and 6962 while resistances are at about 7128 and 7259. Unfilled gap on lower side is at about 7014. A +WW can give about 7175 (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). A -WW can give about 7021 (once below 7119 (-WWs with much lower targets are not mentioned as of now). A rising wedge/channel BD can give 6650.
Nifty rose sharply in spite of huge gap up open but could not sustain. Though it closed green and above 7100, daily candle is an inverted hammer. Also, the -ve div still persists in spite of 300 point rise above previous high. Hence, bulls should be careful. First sign of alarm is a close below 7084 but a close below 7000 may cause major fall. VIX can cause wild swings in nifty. Oil price and/or INR and other global cues will remain key to the future of Indian markets in short to medium term. |

NSE-BSE Circuit Rules & Election Counting Timings for 16th May:
If 10% circuit till 1pm then mkt shuts for 45 mins
If 15% circuit till 1pm then mkt shuts for 15 mins
If 20% circuit anytime, mkt closed for the day
If 10% circuit from 1pm-2.30pm then mkt shuts for 15 mins
If 15% circuit from 1pm-2.30pm then mkt shuts for 45 mins
Post 2.30pm if 10% circuit mkt will continue trading but if 15% post 2.30pm then closed for the day
#Election counting for general elections 2014 due to start at 8am on May 16 across 989 counting centres
#Trends will be in by 11am on Friday, final results by 4pm |
