chandru, the real question is "just as you have "observed" from past data that the difference has to be filled up in some future month, have you also actually "observed" from past data that if we see a daily close above previous expiry, the target gets moved to next month?" or is it based on general practice that we follow as part of any TA?

In addition, if 6644NF is not met in May and we also don't see a daily close above 6840.80, then May will close below last expiry?

Dear vinay,

I am not mixing this with any other TA,most of the time the gap will be cleared during first week,if not remaining period will be in up only but in next month we can aim 100 percent for the tgt.Any how it is an observation only.So if possible you just back test it and give some feedback. You just back test nov gap cleared in Jan 2014.But this will help the persons like you those who are analyzing with TA for making short.

1 My cousin bro., also active in shares had this comment to make about MF: why pay crores to others to $%^&* your money when you can do it yourself for free?
Typical bio of 1 such expert: S#n^&p S$b^&*wal, Delhi IIT+Bangalore IIM. Paid crores by SBIMF, left?, joined Singapore Lotus/ Temasek, left?, next a sad looking JM Fin MF, left? Lastly Prabhudas Liladhar before doing own thing. Apna website bhi hai!
2 I dont know about today ka haal, but previously, knowledgeable Bombay people avoided Canara (Bank) MF as if it had AIDS! The rumor was "shaana" staff would monitor and take away any scrip which zoomed and replace with money = purchase price+ reasonable interest. Yane chor nahi?, sirf 420!
Cheers, Prakash Holla

same question vinay...how do u differentiate from a "sell on rise" to a "buy on dip" market!!!

also, with such high IV's, is buying call/put or writing call/put is a good idea??

generally, writing options when vix is high is best and people have made money in last 3 days. But event such as elections on the horizon, buying is better, IMHO, on dips.
