Yup....noticed good buying in Cash...Vinay...but I'm SHORT because of the technicals....the same technicals if given a BUY signal, I wont hesitate to start buying on every dips.....by the way, sold BankNifty again....around 11850.....hmn....starting to test my nerves now... Rolling Eyes

Sensex has broken the previous year high in every leap year since 1980. Following is the data which shows the price dynamics.

· Currently it is nearly 11% away from the 2011 high of 20664 and 4% away from 2012 highs.

The year high of 19137 is 7.4% below the 2011 high currently.

· According to historical analysis the index can breach last year high which is 6180 for Nifty Index till December’12 (strike rate of 100% for all the leap years since 1980)

DAX is expected to open around 7382; FTSE around 5828 while CAC is expected to open around 3535.....

You'll see weakness in the market only below 5780 levels, Taxmann....at least trading below 5785...till that time, market will have momentum on the upside....I feel...

Dec Futures have support in the range 5830-5814, I believe...below this range, the market could be pretty weak....Let's wait and see...

That means likelyhood of 5780 spot expiry.
