But what about Nifty, keeping quiet, even after US election result.

Saumya, though we've taken out 5730 levels convincingly, we're not out of woods yet as the recent highs are not far.....so, Nifty will consolidate here in the 5700-5800 range for the time being, I feel....to break above the recent highs, you need some triggers, technically or fundamentally....Let's see from where the market is gonna find them....it is possible that the market could go down slightly and then give another test of 5800 levels again..... Steven if you're waiting for day's CLOSE to cover your SHORTs, then watch out for 5753 in Nifty or 18920 in Sensex....if closes above those levels, think about covering your PUTs if you're not comfortable....I'm saying this as you haven't yet covered your PUTs..that's y...

Auropharma has significant resistance in the range 178-179, I feel...so, think about selling the stock now or upside upto those levels with a tight stop....just a suggestion.... Smile

yes sam...and i think bank nifty also has started pushing up..the main reason i'm squaring off is coz the if the nifty closes above 5753 the EOD 12,26,9 MACD will turn positive...i generally watch those counters.. lets see

Yup....levels around 5785 is the next serious resistance, I'm expecting....above that we may test the recent highs, I feel....

hmm, comparing the calls and puts being written... 5800pe is being written with big quantities, lesser contracts.

"IF WE BREAK ABOVE THE RECENT HIGHS AND SUSTAINS THERE", I wont rule out the market testing levels up to 6200 in a month or two.....immediate levels to watch out then will be 5865 / 5930 and 5960....but again, one will have wait and see if the high will be taken out.... Rolling Eyes

that being said...i think we will never take out 6300..atleast for the next few years.. i've squared off my puts...
