If tmrw's rbi policy is going to spring a surprise, watch movement of banks in the afternoon.

watch axis and other banks.

The big 3 , SBIN, Axis and ICICI are used for manipulating BNF and NF. Punters can have a big bang for their money as all 3 are high beta

Nifty for Tuesday (30/09/14)

Supports are at about 7931, 7904, 7874, 7819 and 7807 while resistances are at about 7994, 8019, 8100 and 8146. Four +WWs can give about 8031/ 8156 (if above 7914), 8080 (once above 7985) and 8092 (if above 7943) (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). A -WW can give about 7750 (-WWs with much lower targets are not mentioned as of now). An IHnS can give as much as 8345 if nifty remains above 7955. A HnS can give about 7800/7680 if nifty remains below 7965. A channel can give about 8045/7880 upon BO/BD above/below 7992/7935.

Nifty closed flattish above 7950 but is not out of the woods. Daily candle is a high price harami indicating possible consolidation rather than reversal. The worry for bulls will be if nifty doesn't cross 8045 soon, latest by Wednesday. Otherwise, bearish div may appear. It is still a "sell on rise" situation unless nifty closes above 8050 first and then 8115. A close below 7840/7800 may end the bull rally for a few months. Global events can have a bearing on how nifty moves in short term. Tuesday being RBI policy review, trade carefully.

Hi Vinay,

The close today is mentioned as 7958.90 on the NSE website. The low was somewhere around 7930. But your chart shows different numbers.

Am i missing something?? Just curious!!

I don't understand. This is a printscreen and one can never accurately read it.
