Whoa.... If you trade in multiple lots, you ought to select a better broker, those who provide fixed charges like Rs.20/- per trade irrespective of number of lots.

The lot sizes will keep changing based on a particular price level that's pre-defined. Just like it changes for stocks. Because nifty has expired above 7500 for 3 series continuously, lot size has gotten halved. If it happens vice versa in near future, it will increase back to 50.

Upto 5000, the qty freeze limit for single order for nifty qty was 15000, this reduced to 10000 above 5000. And above 7500 it will now be 7500.

Nifty for Tuesday (07/10/14)

Supports are closely spaced at about 7929, 7909, 7884, 7867, 7820 and 7808 while resistances are at about 7954, 7973, 7996, 8045, 8060, 8091 and 8150. Six +WWs can give about 8002/8100 (if above 7936), 8021 (once above 7909), 8040 (once above 7925), 8060 (once above 7966) and 8150 (if above 7900) (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). Three -WWs can give about 7891, 7850 and 7750 (-WWs with much lower targets are not mentioned as of now). Two IHnS can give 8135/8220 and 8180/8360 if nifty remains above 8035 and 7965 resp. Two HnS can give about 7855/7819 and 7815/7690 if nifty remains below 7909/7965 resp. A falling channel can give about 8020 upon BO above 7968.

Nifty closed flattish -ve but below 7950 and is still bearish. Daily candle is an inside bar. It is still a "sell on rise" situation unless nifty closes above 8050 first and then 8115. A close below 7920 will be worrisome but a close below 7840/7800 may end the bull rally for a few months. Wednesday was a NR7 (22) day while the week, being truncated, was NR7 (28 ) week and hence we may see big moves on Tuesday/next week. Global events can have a bearing on how nifty moves in short term.

Market will also be off-line till Tuesday morning so we wont miss you. Enjoy yourself, recharge with "Talisker" brand energy drink, (post Dasara session), and come back with a bang. Your guidance vital if we have to make the most of predicted swing upto 8500. Prakash Holla

Vijay often given both sides targets because there are both buyers and sellers in the market. I am a seller this time till nov dec and target is opposite to 7500...... Let's see..... May be we have forgotten Vinays downside targets in a " bullish mood"

prakash - why should you place restrictions on me with conditions like "post dussera session"? mera to kabka shuroo ho gaya! Laughing

amit - I always give an unbiased view because it is always a matter of which level is broken and since no TA can decide target but can only guess it. What I do can be differet e.g. when NS refused to go above 7950 near EOD friday, I hedged with 7500pe. I am still bullish since there are many levels below from where we can see a sharp bounce. a close below 7800 can be serious. since 7500pe was 9, I will keep it till end like 8300ce. if we get 7400 or 8400, which is possible in october, not bad at all.

now will log perhaps tmrw afternoon only.

Mr PK
U have gone crazy surely
I am helping to understand the comment that's all
It's helping me in my trading decisions and that's the way I look at it
I am not asking anyone to respond to my posts.
That itself would be one way to respond to my posts
If anyone wants to understand or analyse better the situation or perspective of any others comments on markets they can continue to contribute and critically and analyse and learn and keep posting
In fact most often your comments have nothing to so with markets except off beat and off market topics and
Therefore u jump in here and there and do lots more damage.
Rather than asking me to stop posting pls open your thread and also post Robert miner levels!!!! Eagerly waiting since market in topping behaviour already

Thank you for allowing me to add one more post 2381 24

The last nearby support zone (7840-7750) for nifty though sustaining below 7835 may lead it to fill up all gaps of August.

Nifty for Wednesday (08/10/14)

Supports are at about 7828, 7808 and 7779 while resistances are at about 7859, 7886, 7903, 7917, 7944, 7953, 7967, 7980, 7996 and 8010. Three +WWs can give about 7950/8062 (once above 7897) and 8055 (once above 7938) (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). A -WW can give about 7750 (-WWs with much lower targets are not mentioned as of now). A HnS can give about 7660/7510 if nifty remains below 7835.

Nifty fell sharply in spite of a gap down open and closed just above 7850. It remains a "sell on rise" situation unless nifty closes above 8000. A close below 7800 may end the bull rally for a few months. However, rsi is showing signs of bullish divergence and we may see a sharp reversal soon. Global events can have a bearing on how nifty moves in short term.
