danke prakash. now is the time to be cautious and wise. I have bought small 5400pe for oct even as I hold 900ce for ril. If ril is going to go to 910/25/55 then many other large caps will have to fall for nifty not to go up. At the same time, if 6094 is crossed, we still have a good chance for .........

Otherwise, from view point of deficits, earning growth, investment, etc., nothing looks good except liquidity. let's see what "dose" Raghu gives us tmrw.

some banks have gone up 60-80% in dollar terms since the low in August. Volume already >1 lac cr by 11am.

Saumya I do employ a few methods for coming towards technical levels and trades. For example, the major method I follow gave resistance around 6110 CC in daily charts while a few other methods (which I consult for confirmation) revealed high probable resistance area closer to 6170. So I have decided that 6170 is a good stoploss for any SHORT positions though I could have opted for the recent high of 6230. Similarly, the trade is attractive in terms of risk:reward also (risking around 100 point of so for a target of 400 or higher). I have bought 6000 PUTs OCT this morning for this trade. I have opted for the PUTs because I'm worried about the huge gap-up opening like the one we have had today. Buying PUTs means I can sleep peacefully. By the way, many were disclosing their trades and strategies here. That is why thought about posting my strategy too.
