no ritesh, both 5936 & 6055 (since then raised to 5938 and 6159) are subject to nifty going up and remaining above 5882 and 5912 resp. Another +ww target is 6036 > 5912.
on the lower side there is at least one -ww which can give 5720 if nifty continues to go down. |

doubtful if they are for sept. As of now, I feel range for this week is 5800-6100. If we see another 100 point drop tmrw then expiry could be around 5850-5900 or so provided tmrw daily close is >5800. If we see a 100 point rise tmrw, it could be 6050. so 6000ce may be lucky but 5800pe needs to be taken care of after seeing tmrw's level near eod. |

If NS closes below 5930 today, it can mean further fall. |

NS= 5908
NF Sept = 5930, 16.8 lakhs buyers, 6.4 lakh sellers
NF Oct = 5981 3.2 lakhs buyers, 2.4 lakh sellers
Has anyone seen such large premium and what is the reason for the same?
Vinay? RK?

even 2 days ago, premium was 72. Very high but not sure what the game is in immediate term. Not good. |

saumya, I had commented last week that premium on options is huge, particularly puts. I wanted to dabble in Dec options but 6500ce is 101 and 5400pe is 103. |

Saumya: Humay suspense me mat chodo! What does it mean? Option writers want to book high profits selling options that will expire worthless? But where does that lead Nifty??? Prakash Holla
Update at 1215: Fool around taking NF up and down in small swings and watch the premia being eaten up!
CE5900 down 13.5% and PE5900 down 14.5%
Option writers zindabad! Prakash Holla |

Option premium has Volatility as one of the variables.
VIX at 27 is bound to result in high premiums the more it rises higher will be the premium. |
