How can you say that I insulted Saumya

a1b1trader: Using such phrases in your close friend circle may be OK BUT ...
If we cannot even make you understand that such words are insulting, then there is no use continuing with this conversation
Even using the phrase to a man is wrong because that is an insult to his mother. But further, using it in respect to a decent honorable lady member of our IC group ????

I dont think I have written anything wrong Laughing Laughing

Oct is traditionally a weak month, do you expect it to not happen this time?

apka, I am looking at 8500 for Diwali and will keep buying if nifty reacts in between. But to begin with, keeping my fingers crossed for at least 8235NF before expiry.

Okay, thanks.

Incidentally, I was reading a poem yesterday which I found very inspiring. If you don't mind, may I post it in this thread after market. Chit chat threads don't reflect on homepage.

NS must close at least above 8129.20, preferably >8133/8160.90.

This poem was written in the form of paternal advice to the poet's son in 1895:

Quote:

IF

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream---and not make dreams your master;
If you can think---and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same:.
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build'em up with worn-out tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
And never breathe a word about your loss:
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings---nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And---which is more---you'll be a Man, my son!

~ Rudyard Kipling

Nifty for Tuesday (23/09/14)

Supports are at about 8136, 8123, 8099, 8087, 8066 and 8001 while resistances are at about 8160, 8214, 8250 and 8305. Previous high was at about 8181. Three +WWs can give about 8189, 8203 and 8256 (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). A -WW can give about 8048 (once below 8162) (-WWs with much lower targets are not mentioned as of now). A bullish flag can give about 8185/8285 unless killed below 8020. An IHnS can give about 8295/8390 in case of BO above 8185.

Nifty rose sharply after a gap down open and closed well above 8100 but, more importantly, it reacted again from about 8160. Nifty must close above 8174 and not close below 8050. Even sustaining below 8102 for more than 2 days can cause a fall. Global events can have a bearing on how nifty moves. Liquidity continues to be strong. Intraday volatility can cause wild swings, this week being expiry.
