7858 is JT gann level. 7864 is JT fibo + shankaar conciding level.....

7849 is "my" normal pivot level....low 7852..... lets see.....what happens!!!!

......intra day gann (& JT) is best if taking all signals.

especially as Shekar mentioned yesterday - ranged ranging......!!!

oh no, amit. it's a lousy market to trade. I have small qty of 8000ce/7500pe as posted earlier. If market goes up next week, I may sell some profit making shares and also buy 7500pe for Dec.

Vinay: didnt you post some time back that Western Banks are flush with Obama "Funny Money" printed during prev 5-6 years of QE and NOT handing over the same as loans to customers
BUT
buying options worth TRILLIONS of dollars in the equity and bond markets?

So this China based crises is apart from potential option crises?!?!?

Are there any Western banks left (you can bank on?) OR they are all gambling institutions like Las Vegas MGM etc?

Praksh, here's another news. EM+Global PPT team is asked to report immediately and all holidays are cancelled. It's a Working Group om Financial Markets created after 1987 crash and called PPT by Washington post in 1997. Something BIG seems to be brewing.

This is just a personal view and neither a recommendation nor a tip nor an advice for any trade.

Nifty for Friday (18/09/15) and beyond

Supports are at about 7885, 7861, 7825, 7726, 7595 and 7549 while resistances are at about 7920, 7936, 7952, 8060 and 8090. Unfilled gaps on upper/lower sides are at about 7972/7829 resp. Three +WWs can give about 7966, 8110 and 8134 (+WWs with higher targets are not mentioned as of now). Three -WWs can give about 7768 (if below 7920) and 7640/14 (if below 7898) (-WWs with lower targets are not mentioned as of now). Two IHnS can give 8010/8040 if nifty sustains above 7845/65 resp. while a HnS can give about 7310 if nifty sustains below 7930. A rising wedge can give about 7765/8050 upon BD/BO below/above 7880/7920 resp.

Nifty rose after a gap up open and closed just below 7900. Daily candle is a doji, indicating uncertainty ahead of a major event. The strong bullish div, which sustains, suggests much higher or levels if buying resumes. Nifty must close above 8002 for further upmove. A close below 7818 may mean more fall. Since bearish sentiment persists, only some +ve major news/event can save nifty. Global and local eco-political events can have a bearing on how nifty moves in short term. High VIX can cause wild swings.

Vinay : Leaving aside any last moment improvement in the monsoon, which i think is likely given that Ganesh is very late this year (Sep 17-28?)

I read a very amusing news item this morning:
Headline: Kharif crop disaster this year
News item: says kharif crop will be 1.8% lower this year!

(So the various irrigation projects, canals, drip irrigation etc are actually proving effective?)
And dont forget that due to BUMPER crops previous years, there is no space to actually store the grain once bought at exorbitant prices from farmers
Do I laugh or cry?

Are we going to see NF leaping like a lark?
