On 12th IIP data and HDFC,INFY results are going to come out. IIP data is expected to be better.HDFC and INFY results are going to dictate The direction of the Market.

Now the tussle.INFY showing a reverse HNS at the verge of Break out for upside and at the same time showing a pattern of -WW for a target of 2480 in Feb 1st week.

HDFC broke out a short term resistance today.will the upmove continue. While it's losing it's business to LICHSFG.

I expect an upside moves atleast for short term. When it is going to reverse let us see....

ajay/rk - yes, may be I didn't put it properly. if we have a gap up, nsinojia's target may be reached but I think we will see about 4807 NS also because I feel 11th and 12th may be net down. Remember, nifty has led world markets on some days in recent past, like today, and has gone down the next day(s). So there is no reason why it should also not react first.

Reaction will occur after the results or some news. Momentum points to another up day tomorrow.

Past is not equal to the future .... right now they seem to be in the pump mode .It should be interesting day tomorrow.

Agreed RK Laughing

It depends on how shaky the participants are to the news/earnings.

However momentum follows newtons law- motion continues unless an external force (news) throws a spanner in the works.

Laughing It seems you are well aware of my liking for Newtons Laws.

You are right... The external force may come in the form of results Laughing

relax guys. to hell with newton! Laughing

without external force, the object will continue to move in its original direction, provided the object is moving to begin with. so what we need is friction. the damn nifty is not moving at all. if under this state friction comes what may happen?
