| contrary to your views sam, since I feel 17th to 20th (4 days) will be up, I feel there could be a big move may be 200 points this week |

I expect that move (250 pt move, which i'm expecting) only after the nifty closes above 4878, Vinay.....I dont expect that Nifty will close above 4878 easily. Also, with the global headwinds and from the previous market movements, I expect it to consolidate now....I wont be surprised if the market goes to test 4740 levels in a day or two. But I'm still bullish about the 5150 levels. Let's see what is gonna happen.  |

Vinay, you got it right for the day, I guess.....  ....I was not expecting the market to be around 4880 at 3pm today.....I was expecting Nifty to be flirting 4800 levels...hahaha....but i got it wrong....
NOTE: Even a close above 4868 will be positive, though I want a close above 4878 for confirmation. I expect the pressure unless the market breaks the 4867-4878 range on a closing basis. I still dont expect the market to close above 4867 today. |

| sam, I had actually said that today will be down but as explained to ajay, considering the bullish trend given on friday, a few points +ve is like a down sentiment. |

Vinay,
I will consider this as a good day if it closes above 4868 at least. I would have preferred to have a close above 4878, but still its a good close, i guess. The important thing here to note is that the midcaps are outperforming the largecaps. This clearly indicates that this is just a pullback. Because, after bottoming out, largecaps are the ones which do well normally.

On the contrary Vinay, the bulls clawed back from all the negatives ie Eurozone downgrades, paki issues etc..... this is a bullish sign |

WOW.....  ....Tooo perfect??....hehehe....really laughin here.....
By the way, I was mentioning about the 4868-4878 area yesterday, anand....In fact, i was mentioning the spot levels.....By the way, as i mentioned yesterday itself, even if the nifty couldn't close above 4878 spot, but it did close above 4868 which was positive. If nifty continues to have this momentum for another day, i believe there is every chance of testing 5150 levels. But this is just my opinion. Please be careful and always trade with stoplosses.....

Its a good idea....even with 4300 FEB PUTs, one will make money I guess. I DONT expect the market to have a monthly closing above 4800 "anytime soon".....I expect January candle to have a close around 4600. At the same time, I expect the market to touch around 5150 first before you can see all these levels.... |
