Hi sam,

Your vies on banknifty and icici bank

vishy

Vishy,

BankNifty has immediate support around 10550-530 range. On the upside, it has immediate resistance around 10690-715 range. BankNifty is giving mixed signals, Vishy.....also, some stocks are giving bearish outlook but some stocks have unfinished targets....so, no clear view about it yet....

NOTE: I was expecting ICICI Bank to test 950-955 levels.....the stock hasn't tested those levels yet.....I'm planning to sell the stock if the market is still below 5460 levels....but it has small resitance around 943....immediate support is around 922-920 range.

loss apka. as I told steve, it was a mistake to buy 2500 and should have been 2600. both ce/pe should be equal for this strategy but I bought in a hurry without thinking. Crying or Very sad

But steve must have made money 2guns

do inform steve what was ur trade and whether in profit, at par or loss.

writers are smart.

i had bought 2600ce and 2350pe at 55 yesterday. sold four lots of 2600ce at 2.5..and sold two lots of 2350pe at 122... still holding onto two more 2350pe options..i made only a marginal profit...nothing great..

INFY is heading for 1960-1970 levels, I believe..... Smile

how i wish it would hit those levels this month !!!! Razz

I wont be surprised if sub 2000 levels are achieved this month itself.... angel

Its strange inspite of 9% fall and bad future guidence Infy futures still in premium, people r there too buy it whatever it be,
Well if market rallies up to 6k NS on back of QE3 if it comes then it will be quite possible for Infy to inch up to 2400-2500 even if it goes down to 1800-1900 levels,
Sam what will be your call on infy over a time frame of 12months if one starts buying in cash at every fall upto 1800.
Regards,

Taxmann, Fundamentally, its a very good company as per most of the experts. Its always better to buy the stock for LONG Term prospects when the pessimism is at its peak. Thats how good money is earned through investing. So, I'm of the opinion that one can think about buying the stock if it comes down to sub-2000 levels. One can accumulate in small quantities, I believe. At some point of time, Infy will start performing well. There is no doubt about that.

NOTE: The gap around 2700 will be filled at some point of time...... Laughing ...hope it will be sooner than later....

INFY S=2251
my X = 2350

2350pe are trading at 106. So imagining expiry being today the intrinsic value =2350-2251 = 99. so mathematically this option has an time value of only 7rs. thats quite minimal isnt it?

Steven, Deep in-the-money options and deep out-of-the-money options have little time value. Intrinsic value increases the more in the money the option becomes. And at-the-money options have the maximum level of time value but no intrinsic value. Time value is at its highest level when an option is at the money because the potential for intrinsic value to begin to rise is the greatest right at this point. yes, if it doesn't break 2150 levels, then levels around 2400 could be possible....
