no need to wait for closing basis I feel...even intraday might be enough.....cos, below 5070, I expect the market to test 5037-5025 range....but yes around 5080, with a stoploss below 5070 one can go long, I feel...cos, the risk is pretty low....above all BankNifty is showing some strength....that's wat I feel... Can anyone give me the view on Bank Nifty?

Taxmann, this is what I have posted on Wednesday regarding the BankNifty....my opinion remains the same.....I'm pasting that message here again:

Hi Sam,

yr views on bank nifty.

vishy

BankNifty has immediate resistance in the range 10560-10590 range, Vishy. If that range is broken then there is chance of it testing 10700 levls above that 10780-10790 could be tested again. On the downside, at 10340, the index has considerable support. The levels to watch on the downside will be 10340 / 10230 / 10175 and then 10050. The area 10050-9900 is the major support for the index.

BankNifty has almost achieved my first target......currently trading around 10350....Very Happy

BankNifty has achieved almost my second target....the low made as of now is around 10237...... Smile

BankNifty has again missed the target by a whisker.....today's low as of now is around 5233....but it shows relative strength of the banks.....even when the Nifty gone below yesterday's low by a big margin, BankNifty hasn't break below yesterday's low convincingly.....but let's wait and see if it provides some cushion for a small recovery....

I'm just holding those CALLs....if the marktet goes down, I'll only lose those 15 bucks....but if it goes to 5175 or so...then I'll make some....another thing is that these CALLs are like some sort of hedging against my SHORT positions....at least till expiry... Smile

Is anyone contemplating a buy in LT?

Somehow something in my mind says we may see a rush to 5200ns.

Sam: Muthuswamy who won 2/3 of prev predict NF close competitions says that usually prev Friday close say Jul 20 of NF 3.30PM will be repeated on close say Jul 26 3.30PM! That was 5216.5 NF. I have placed 5216.5 as my NF bid
This matches with gut feeling of Taxmann!!!

There is CHANCE of Nifty testing 5177-5200 levels. Eearlier, I was expecting levels around 5225 or so....but it looks difficult....but still levels around 5200 can't be ruled out...I feel...again, it will just be a pullback which should be sold, I feel....The market is really looking bad to me....when it starts going down 300 or 400 points will go in 2 or 3 days....thats what I feel....above all, I have a feeling we might visit 4500 levels before october itself....anyway, only time will tell, where we'll be at that time....so, let's wait and watch... Smile

I remember his posts, Prakash....I have mentioned about it on last friday itself, I guess....in this very thread.....by the way, there is chance of testing 5200 levels....expiring around 5200 levels looks difficult....but thats my gut feeling....anyway, let's wait and see how the trades pan out tomorrow...
