There will be lot of uncertainties from here onwards up to 5430 levels or upto the recent highs which is around 5450 levels, Taxmann....I have just bought a few more Nifty PUTs of lower strike price...I might exit those PUTs tomorrow if we break above today's highs.....anyway, let's see..

sam, I think today's high was 5393. That means you will get out immediately if we see a gap up open?

5300 PUTs Sonila....bought around 30....didn't want to risk more than 10 or 15, that's why opted for the lower strike price....in this case, even if there is a gap up opening of 100 points, I wont be loseing more than 15 rupees....but if there is a gap down opening, these PUTs will be good till expiry.....Anyway, as of now I believe that we'll have a gap up opening tomorrow. So, in that case, I might throw these puts in the morning itself.....

Yes, Vinay......looks like that way...if we opens up with a small gap, then I'll throw these 5300 PUTs away for sure....However, if we opens above 5415-5420 levels, then I'll have to think again....cos, we'll be pretty close to the highs made recently. Anyway, let's see how we open tomorrow... Smile

sam, previous high was about 5449 and I feel it may react from a slightly lower level. OR just zoom past it though doubtful.

Yes Vinay, the internals are not helpful to zoom past it….Still we never know. Mighty forces might have decided to do it….ha…haa…haa.

possible stoppage @ 5425-5430, falling trendline from 5630 5448 meets there, if crosses next trgt should be 5520-5530.

- IIP Data @ 11am
- Germany court ruling probably after market
- QE3 yes / no at late night

Dec 2012 reckoning dooms day is here early

If the IIP numbers are good, then forget about further rate cuts....wont that affect the banks???... Question...but if the overall market does well, then banks will also do well...but you have asked specifically about the IIP numbers...that's why given specific answer on that.... Smile

Talking about the levels, BankNifty has immediate resistance around 10230 levels. In fact, there will be significant resistance in the range 10230 and 10276, I feel. A break above this range could see the index testing 10400 levels. The high made is around 10224. Anyway, let's see.... Rolling Eyes
