Europe has gone down suddenly after some comments about the European crisis and bond buying by Merkel....but the markets have recovered slightly now.....

China's Central Bank says to fine tune monetary policy in line with economic situation. Says Current Inflation Trend Is Stable.....A Chinese stimulus in the offing????.... Laughing ...let's wait and see...

yes steve you are right but this is temporary and is because its IV has fallen since time to expiry is large. Once nifty starts going up, provided it does, it will improve. That's I mentioned hedging in the morning e.g. SL for 5600PE for oct is about 45

Doctors are saying VIX is suffering from acute amnesia. There is no specific period of time as to when it might recover back completely, but chances are soon.

steve, an alternate way of putting SL on a hedge (with a short or PE) is about 5730NF, above which it's only long

What is your opinion about VIX, Dr. Apka?....is it happening because of the expiry this week?...or will this be a permanent disorder? Will our Nifty be fine after applying VIX? Awaiting your replies eagerly... Mr. Green

hahaha....i think there will be situation when everyone will need a few printers....

By the way, talking about the markets, Dow is still trading lower than their 2000 levels, if you consider the inflation....thats the reason why Apple's market cap has become all time high....will try to post about these things with charts at night if possible... Smile
