NIFTY is trading in range bound... As per bolinear band... NIFTY is trading upper BB band... historically whenever NIFTY breaks, it breaks opposite to current level.

So now, as NIFTY is touching upper BB, I feel it will break lower BB... and trader will jump in to add more shorts..

Mine is just observation...

Technical Analysis expert add their view...

hello everyone ! finaly i'm back to civilized world... the charts look pretty confusing...there is a very small band formed and a break out/ break down will get very good gains.. i have a strategy which is to buy OTM Calls and puts..if there is a strong move on either side it'll get you easy money...

Disclaimer : the risk is obvious..if the market doesnt move at all..then both sides will keep falling Sad Sad

Historically, these type of fast move has been observed on expiry day and that too after second half when most of the option value are at zero value... because before that most of SL will be trigger as options will loose value expotentially as time passes...

I have booked loss in options when I tried to play this sideways market on expiry day...

If I have hold these options till makrt is closed, then I would have made more than 1000% profit... as move came in next half

Looks like a break above 5721 could push the market to 5755-5760 levels. At the same time, a break below 5700 could see the market testing 5660 or even 5640 levels. That means there is nothing wrong in selling Nifty around 5720 with stoploss above 5730 for a target of 5660 or buying Nifty around 5640 with stoploss below 5630 for a target of 5700-5720. It is very difficult to take any position in between, I feel. Overall trend remains UP as long as the market holds above 5620 levels. Let's see what happens on the last day before expiry...... Smile

For whichever combo, its better to buy it on Monday, considering the long weekend and expiry..... Smile

NF is 92 below 5800 but 5800CE is 3. Looks like heavy short buildup in 5800ce and short covering will rocket it up.
