Banks are looking good for shorting as long as the banknifty is below 10100....Infra stocks have gone up a lot....so, they can give good opportunities (IVRCL Infra and GVK Power are looking a bit exhausted)....Tata Steel around 475 will be a good short....Reliance, if it comes to 840-850 range will be a good short....
But it all depends on the market moves...if the market moves up from here...then its better not to short...  |

Hahaha.....yes Murty, the market seems not to be in a mood to move now....Anyway, you are lucky as well...cos, the total premium has gone up....it is around 175, I guess...That means the uncertainty and the volatility has gone up in the market in the last 2 days. Thats why the option prices are quoting higher values. But the market can't move like this forever. It will show its bias in a day or two. By the way, keep the stoploss as mentioned earlier. If you want to invest the money into something else, then its up to you to decide if you want to exit the options or not.

Another one is Ranbaxy...any upmove in the stock can be sold, I guess..... |

Nifty is trading around 5303 now. If the market stays above 5280-5285, there is chance of it testing 5325-5330 levels later today. However, if gone below 5280, there is chances of it testing 5250.
