Hi,
Asian Markets are trading UP by around 1.5% to 2%. Our market is also expected to open UP with a gap. Considering the last 30 minute's trade yesterday, we should start briskly with good momentum today. The range 5386-5396 will provide support for the day. On the upside, the range 5451-5457 will be first resistance for the day. If this range is broken, then the next resistance will be in the range 5483-5493. I dont expect the market to break 5500 levels easily. However, if broken, then there is chance of testing 5530 and 5560 levels. Personally, I'll be booking partial profits for my LONGs in the range 5460-5490 because, I expect the market to correct to 5300-5330 levels again, before further up-moves.

BankNifty:
If the Bank Index breaks today's high, there is chance of another 100 points. The next resistance will be around 10820-10830 range. There is nothing wrong in booking profits around those levels.

The market has made a high around 5488 and is trading around 5482 now. Some of the stocks have gone down a bit from their highs today. This is because of the profit booking. Watch Out.

I have bought a few current month Nifty 5500 PUTs around 53, a while earlier.......This is just for a hedge for my remaining LONGs......Will make a few bucks if the market comes back to 5330 levels.... |

sam your SL should be about 35-36 because one never knows, expiry may be above 5500. I too intend to buy it but around 40-45 |

6 trading sessions are there vinay, before expiry....I dont expect expiry below 5400....I expect the market to bounce back from 5330-5300...if at all the market reach there.... ....but the PUTs are just for some hedging......I haven't committed a lot behind the PUTs..... |

sam, maddy posted 5520 NS as AT breakout target and I intend to buy puts around that level but for a day or two with a SL around 5540 NS. At the same time, if you see major day upmoves in the past, intraday high and low have a difference of about 130. so 5605 NF today is not ruled out. That amounts to about 5575 NS. |
