When u are asking for a Swing trade then SL is always on EOD basis.. and Ns managed to close at 5253.. so it can still be carried as a Swing long with 5253 SL on EOD basis..
Note: 5253 is NS number on the charts i am following.. SO take the NF equivalent of 5253 NS...
Targets can be 5640/5727/5875... |

Jimmie Sir Hello,
I need to understand one thing. If possible for you kindly share your views on it.
I normally trade futures on 60min tf. My entry points are more or less appropriate. My biggest problem is exit point. Either I exit too early from the trade or too late.
Case in point is Hindalco in 60min tf. I saw an evening star and took entry. Exited around 240 in the mentioned candle. Few days later I found hindalco around 220. It happens in most of trades that I undertake.
Can u share what should i keep in mind, while planning exit from a trade.

I too find similar issues... One option is to trail the SL by keeping the trade open... U can read about how to trail SL's in internet... One option I would suggest is to keep the high of the 2nd last candle and trail in a trending market and I'm sure you would make huge profits... Other methods experts can share..

Hi,
I think abv parameter of EOD closing is pretty dangerous and hard to trade. Today nifty managed to closed abv 5250 in EOD, i think 5250-5245 SL of swing long may got hit (obvious thing). What if Nifty has closed at 5210 today?? (who wud have saved the 40 odd loss points)!!
I think, we shud derive a strategy which is good enough to trade, not to make us happy physiologically

For a Swing, 40-60 points SL is fair enuf.. |

Its a long term TL from 5-6 yrs so a bit here n there is Ok.. still bullish.. |
