Hello,

In between the two highs, the RSI seemed to to go below 50 once.
So as per strict set up - I will ignore this.

It is helpful if the RSI scale has '50' in it - just to see the cross over clearly.

Regards,

Saikat

Hello,

Today NVK worked very beautifully - the set up was quite good looking.

As I was not in SB that time - I couldn't shout Razz
But I hope it was too easy to notice and trade.

As I was already swing short since yesterday in April @ 5307
so I took intra long in May and as I was to go out for some time I had kept
a limit Sqr off order 5 points below morning high - which got hit after just 7 candles - thanks to 20 odd points premium in May that time Cool

That's why though on NS chart the high it made after trade entry doesn't look like anywhere near morning high - but the MAY future almost reached morning high.

Cheers !!!!!!!

Saikat

Hello All,

NVK in DLF Hourly.

Though nifty was bearish since yesterday - but DLF rocked on the upside.

That's why I tend to ignore every other things except the one that I trade - while in that trade.

The entry taken @ 292.50

As 310 was EOD 34 EMA ( from where it is retracing last few occasions)
I kept that as TGT 1 - which was met yesterday only and I booked 50%

Today I got 315 ( 2 points higher than my TGT 2 of 313.50) - so booked rest.

The Profit booking done solely looking at EOD chart - near 34 EMA.
Today's closing looked like - it is once again going to retrace from there.

Cheers !!!!!

Saikat

Hi

Just watch Bajajhind, though not a perfect divergence, it's definitely formed a double bottom... Risk should be 1 Rs from the CMP

Saikat, let me know if this could be traded... Shocked

Regards
Ravi

Sandew Hi,

Sorry for late response, I genreally do not look into personal messages.

Yes, the NVK setup is valid for all time frames and equally effective, It so happened that Saikat was doing it on the basis of Yahoo Charts, with it's default setting, and I too like the setup there very much, so our earlier discussion is based on that only.

"the peak should not be days high " is based on Yahoo charts for Intraday setups.

Alternatively, you can take the help of RSI, as in the chart posted by Ravi, Bajajhind has made double bottom and RSI has made a higer corresponding low, but have a look at RSI when price in between has made a peak RSI has risen above 50 and then came down to make a higher low. This negates the NVK setup.

Hence the NVK formed by Bajajhind is not tradeable. Although, price might go on to make high from here but I would not take the trade as per NVK setup.

Hope it clarifies

SHEKHAR

Always rely on smooth charts with RSI coming out of OS/OB region some of the older charts being re-posted here, see there is no jerky movement in price as well as in RSI. These are good setups.
