again chennai boy,
tomorrow is the sett day...now nf closed at 4848-4850 range...tomorrow
after 2 o clock just c the price of nf...suppose if trades in the range 4848... go long in 4900 calls at .10 paise or .20 paise...not more than that it wont trade...similarly go long 4800 put at .20 paise... or trades in the range of 4900 means go long 5000 calls at .20 paise and go long in 4800 for .20 paise...100 pts this side and that side.... total qty is 1000 each...entire risk is 200+200=400 with brokerage and all u add it...net risk is very less...if its a one side move ...then jack-pot....suppose 4848 range and u bought 4900 call and 4800 puts ...last 1 hour market crashed to 4700 u will get 1 lak or market goes up 4925-4950 u will get 25000/= to 50000/=... with small risk of 2000/= to 3000/= [ with brokerage surcharge cess].....will u take this risk.... and tell me the result....these things will be only on sett days ...that is also after 2 pm...only...

WHAT IF IT SETTLES AT 4850????MERI LOTTERY KABHI NAHI LAGEGI!!!

Hi Everybody,
Last month on the settlement day I bought 20 lots 5200 call at Rs1.20 aroun three o'clock and in the closing minutes Nifty was trading around 5217-18 and the call was trading around one rupee.So I let the call to expire.After the market hours the final value of Nifty became 5201(I did not know why?)and I was charged Rs6000 as STT and later came to know that if position was taken on the sett.day and if it was not closed before 3.30 hefty STT will be charged.
