Note:6800 put has cut some oi and 6700 put and 6650 put has added oi....World markets are not in a very good state but a bounce back for those markets is on the cards on monday..we have only 6 trading sessions to go including expiry session.Our markets will try to hold...6500 to 6700 levels the puts are written very heavily...a breach below 6700 levels with very very huge volumes and a close below 6650 on a closing basis will set the cat amongst the pigeons..but such a scenario looks unlikely in this series...but in a market one can never say...best luck angel

6700 put cutting oi and 6700 call witnessing writing...unfortunately 6700 put not cutting oi the bears would like it to but it seems markets opening on the downside as of now...today's close and subsequent EOD figures will give better idea

Note:6700 put and 6650 put have cut oi..6700 call is being written...but no visible call writing seen in 6600 call as of now..tomorrow's Eod options data will give a slight idea whether how much further down we may slide if at all..best luck angel

early signs are that the 6700 put is being written...are we going to see a turn around on the upside..options data suggests that the market is going to go up but the vix is high so with increasing volatility options data can change quickly...EOD figures today might give a clear idea

early signs that even 6800 put is getting written...long weekend and high volatility..remember..but my duty is to point out the options data...options data now as per 10.46 suggests that even 6800 put is getting written slowly.....i might be wrong...wait for EOD figures...

Note:6700 put and even 6800 put is being written heavily...markets are in long weekend mood...bulls have made a turn around but with high volatility and election results next month is going to be a very decisive month for the second half of this year...for april series if something very very bad doesn't happen then 6650-6700 seems the bottom for april series...best luck angel

Hi srfelixmca,

The writing is not visible so easily regularly..but it becomes more clear during the last few days before the expiry...There are many parameters to follow and they are not easy for me to explain and it will be very confusing instead you can follow the easiest way just keep an watch on the options data on the nse website continously along with the price movement of itm options and nearby itm calls and puts...

Thanks. For illustration purpose lets say for particular scrip highest OI is for CE 500, change in OI is -ve. 2nd highest OI is for CE 450, change in OI is +ve. PE 420 and 400 are have highest OI with -ve change in OI. Scrip price is 440. What do we infer from this data.

Hi Sanjay,

Options oi theory only applies for nifty calls and puts...i will never apply it for individual stocks...i feel and might be wrong that individual stocks are way too easy for manipulation..even nifty can be managed by big operators...better known as nifty management...but it is hardest to manipulate nifty i feel...i am nifty trader only..i neither trade in individual stocks nor do i trade in stock futures...so..i have no idea except nifty options...

Regards;
Rahul.

Note:Start of the toughest series in five years..the unpredictable results hold the key for the coming months..very early indications are looking at the overall oi of the may series a broad range of 6500-7000, as of now 6500 put and even 6000 put and along with it 7000 call has the highest oi,options will most probably become normal once the election results are out till that time it is a waste of time looking at options data,if i see a very huge addition of oi in any particular strike intraday i will definitely let all of you know...be careful trading in the month of may and best luck angel
