Thanks,YoginiShreyas,Amitagg

i will start posting again soon,in my view if the lot size of nifty futures is reduced to 25 which i have heard is going to happen soon then options will become difficult to write i feel and will become more clearer, over the past few months ever since i stopped putting my views i could see that the ivs had reached an all time low and the volatility in the markets had died now, this move of change of lot size will not only help small retail players but also it will somehow make the markets more safe and better in the long run, thanks and best luck Smile

highest oi is in 8500 call and 8300 put but it seems today even 8400 put is getting aggressively written..it seems bulls are trying to keep the markets at these levels in the range of 8300 - 8500...it seems unlikely as of now if some unforeseen event doesn't happen that nifty spot may close below 8250 or above 8550 in this series...we will know better as oi picture becomes clearer with every passing day closer to expiry...best luck Smile

Note:start of a new series, unusually high oi at 8500 call in december series at the start,if the call closes above 170 in eod then it can rally further if not then spot nifty 8640-8660 is the max i expect the nifty to close on f and o expiry for the december series,no huge addition seen on the put side as of now max oi is at 8500 put,as the days go by oi additions on both sides will give us a better idea, best luck... Dear Soonil123, Yashrahul, NTpatode
Please attach the excel file for nifty oi again, as the old one is not working properly.

Note:Bulls are on the rampage, first day itself the bulls make a mockery of my predicition and the 8500 call closes above 170 in EOD,i wait for the RBI decision to pass and then wait for my last hope is a close above 8670 NS in EOD on a weekly closing basis and i will be left with no choice to cover my shorts in 8500 december calls which i shorted at close to 150 some days back..till then shedding of oi or addition of oi at various strikes will give me a better idea as days pass by... Hi, Quick questions-
8500 C and 8600 C have the highest OI. Does that mean, markets can take a bearish turn?
regards,

yes oi is substantially high,i still feel that 8500 calls are written and wont be convinced till i see substantial cut in oi in 8500 calls..

vinay looking forward to your levels of 7700-7800,in which month should we expect it,i read your view that u don't expect levels of below 8450 in this series,i will cover call shorts closer to 8450 if i get it,i believe u hence please let me know in which month(months are very important for regular option traders) do u expect the nifty at 7700-7800

i too follow Buffet71 settings and find them amazingly perfect ,eventhough buffet71 settings never suggested a short ,i took the decision to short calls by looking at oi and futures data and some other indicators and also eventhough the markets are rising..advance declines have started moving in the favour of declines more often..i might be wrong but felt it was worth the risk, best luck to you always Taruj, bye.

when i had joined ichart 1 and half year back,buffet71 was the one who was the most cooperative on shout box,he had given me his settings on sb eventhough i never followed it much in the first one year, over the last 3 to 4 months i have started looking at it consistently and find it amazing, the problem is in live charts premium there is no 2 min tf,no stochastic,no 50 dma..but still on mobile i somehow manage with 3 min tf and 50 sma and 13 ema...if u feel i should add on something which will further make trades more successful please be free to suggest Taruj.
