Dear rakpeds
you must understand that writing options are very risky for any newcomer in this line. It may test one's pertinence and risk taking capacity. I advise initial capital of Rs 2.5 lac for this purpose.
Kindly trade only if you are oldeee.. in Capital Market and have full awareness about market risk and movement.
Other wise trade it on paper and once you fully understand the concept and risk, then it is advised to go on.

yes arnav sir... for sure. i do understand the risk involved in the same.
Also oldie enough for FnO section. But will need your guidance for the same through intial course of time as option pain is something new and learning phase for me.
So any change as of now for the above two shorted entities.

Option Pain is stuck between 5200-5300, this shows directionless market for the time being.
with maxi. call writing @ 5200-5300-5400 and covering of puts on same stricks.
EOD chart showing some weakness as –
MACD near to crossover – RSI showed (-) divergence & today’s closing candle below 5EMA.
For above reasons, no aggressive option writing till confirmation of trend and till than current positions continues.

i mostly heard of risk in writing options in scenario of high movements like circuit or big gap up/down.
Here one can do following:-
1. in case some imp. event known sq. of put/call between rs 20-30 & buy put/call between 8-12 for hedging open positions.
2. In case no event or a major trend is already in exteem overbought/oversold postion, then buy put/call between rs. 5-10 for hedging open positions.
This will reduce unlimited liability in option writing, otherwise within hedged positions its is quite manageable to write options.
for this help of upper BB20 and lower BB20 may be taken. it is for reason if any major movement happens it certainly breach BB20.

Sell 1 lot 5400 call august series @ 75-79 after 3.15pm if nifty not breaks days high.

So we will have 3 positions in that case
