You need future margin to write in stock options and good to be in profits always. October series lots of trading holidays and time value will decrease the premium into ashes

| true, u can move on till expiry nears and selling can be done!!!! ...what about straddles/ butterflies/iron condors etc..........hmmm simple effective strategy.....allow us to watch for few more months |
