Can 45 degree lines help positional traders.. ?? find out yourself from the below charts. the thick lines are from the last lows n highs. i regret shorting in november n december, while the perfect short point was distinctly visible.. Shocked

Sorry i didnt see your topic here in TA. It will be helpful for a person like me, who is new in TA. Looking at the current trend of mkt, i guess we will see some new highs in this month. I`ve voted for the 1st one as per my knowledge, plz correct me if m wrong.

I believe - your 'mistakes' in Dec / Jan has turned you a better trader.

Hi Jimmie,

This is great work. My reading of the situation is to have as many possible profitable trades as possible as time is of value and also to harvest as many points as possible. Hence trade both ways inside the channel keeping stop loss at the band edge. Shorting below the blue line will give possible great profits but the opportunity comes once in a while whereas the cyclic motion inside the band gives steady income which is what we want in the long run. Windfalls -- once in a while are welcome. So no clear cut vote.
