In chart beta(premium), I normally use 1 year duration. This means that a chart for a timespan of 1 year will be shown in the window. I use a daily chart. Some times MACD histogram will not be very visible in the window as the time span is 1 year. What I need to see is the last few bars to know whether the bars are ticking up or down. Hence I tend to see a 3 month duration of daily chart as well. What I notice, then, is that the last value of the 200 day EMA is diffrent in the 3 month window compared to the corresponding value of 200 day EMA. There are also diffrences in the MACD histogram bars.
Could somebody please clarify.
