Hi all:
Background:
1. I have an account with Zerodha
2. Zerodha provides 10 times leverage for intraday stocks, but no btst, hence no leverage on delivery.
3. I find the need for leveraged based delivery buying for about 1-3 trading days.
4. Zerodha has a tie-up with ILFS to provide this facility for which they charge approx 13% per annum for a max of 2.5 times funding.
5. frequently, i find the need to carry positions overnight, without the intraday auto-square off by the broker at 3:10 pm.
6. in case i take an intraday position and find I need to carry overnight, zerodha+ILFS combination allow me to convert intraday to delivery by some mechanism. I am told I need to use a code for this conversion.
My queries are as below...
a. sanity check on taking of this system
b. if (a) is ok, interest rate charged
c does anyone have experience on this kind of arrangement, and if yes, drawbacks, if any, of this system.
TIA.
Cheers
